The tradtional black outer frame with tiny tesserae in white with red rings forms an inner border. Within is a realistically depicted fly composed of multi-colored tesserae. The raised gold bezel with forked shoulders and simple gold shank. Unisex – suitable for a man or woman. Marks and Metal: English hallmarks, reading left to right: partially legible maker’s mark – seems to be C W S. 375 for 9ct gold (actually stays lightly for 14k when acid tested). The next mark is not clear. Followed by the Sheffield Crown and date letter’g’. Condition: Good with minor wear commensurate with age/use.
