Spectacular Victorian Yellow Vaseline Glass Sweetmeat / Bon Bon Dish – RARE. A delightful Victorian blown art glass Sweet meat bowl (or master salt) having swirled, fluted form to its body with addition shell-scalloped, textured applied yellow Vaseline glass rigaree to the rim as well as to the mid-body. The bowl is in PERFECT MINT condition and trimmed with red and white. The glass insert measures 5 1/4″ at their widest x 3″ high. I believe this piece to likely be English in origin, manufactured by one of the Stourbridge glass manufacturers possibly Stevens and Williams. And dating back to the mid to late 1800’s.
