Early Victorian Antique English 15k Gold Heart Double Locket Charm Pendant 1840
A wonderful early Victorian locket pendant charm, modelled as a classic Georgian-style stylized heart. In solid 15 carat gold, it has a fabulously fine, high quality and perfectly formed 3d foxtail chain bezel that almost looks naturalistic and is so finely detailed it really draws the eye. The locket is identically double-sided, and fitted with both its original beveled glasses. They’re held in by friction, and can be carefully removed by a jeweller or dextrous person to access the inside to place a photo, tiny gems or similar. It dates to around 1840/50 and is in fantastic original condition, with very little wear and no loss or damage. Both glasses are in perfect condition. It’s a tiny 19 x 16 mm and looks just amazing hanging from a chain or charm bracelet. It weighs 2.5 grams. What’s more, I offer layaway deals so there’s no need to let any of my listings slip through your fingers – just ask! For security all items are stored in a bank’s safe deposit box and sent fully insured for peace of mind.
